Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Hot Stones Massage

A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy. It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. Basalt hot massage stones are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees and applied to specific areas of the body or used as a massage tool to assist in releasing tense muscles.

Dry Needling Therapy

Dry needling is a treatment performed by skilled, trained physical therapists, certified in the procedure. A thin monofilament needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments

IASTM is a useful treatment type to effectively break down and release scar tissue restrictions.

Indian head massage, also known as champissage, is a treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck, and shoulders, often using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition. Indian head massage is an ancient therapeutic practice that has been used in India for over 2000 years, (since around 600 B.C.), and requires no oils or equipment, making it a very accessible treatment, perfect for newcomers to massage. It is usually done while seated and through light clothing.

Balinese massage is a full-body, deep-tissue, holistic treatment. Traditional Balinese massage uses a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure, reflexology, and aromatherapy to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and "qi" (energy) around your body, and bring a sense of wellbeing, calm and deep relaxation.

KT tape is also used to support injured muscles or joints without restricting full range of motion in individuals with neurological disorders. It helps to aid in faster muscle recovery, prevents cramps or spasms, prevents over-stretching or over-contraction of muscles, and also enhances muscle tone and strength.

Pregnancy massage is similar in many ways to a normal massage, the main difference being that massage techniques used in pregnancy are adapted to maintain the wellbeing of mother and child. Techniques vary from firmer massages to relieve discomfort, or softer massages to help relax the expectant mother.
